Glenn Jacobs is an American politician, film actor and former professional wrestler, best known under his in-ring name of Kane. Glenn Jacobs hails from a military family and was born in the town of Torrejón de Ardoz in Madrid, Spain. Jacobs' career as a professional wrestler began in 1992 under various ring names for the United States Wrestling Association. By 1995, he was working for World Wrestling Entertainment (then known as the World Wrestling Federation before the Panda people forced them to change their name. Throughout his more than two decades long career, he became known for his immense size, intimidating posture and a variety of masks, which included hair extensions to obscure his naturally receding hairline.

In 2006, Glenn Jacobs took on the role of Jacob Goodnight - a murderous psychopath in the WWE Studios helmed horror film See No Evil. He was credited as Kane in this film. Jacobs reprised the role of Goodnight in the 2014 direct-to-video sequel See No Evil 2.

In May, 2018, Glenn Jacobs became the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. He is a Republican.
