Biography[]

George Stark was the parasitic twin of writer Thad Beaumont, who allegedly died in utero, though some physical matter from the undeveloped fetus attached itself to Thad's brain.

As an adult, Thad Beaumont came up with the fictitious name "George Stark", which he used as a pen name for some of his mystery novels. After being outed, Beaumont had a ceremonial funeral for the Stark persona, wiping his hands of this presumed alter ego. However, the Stark persona manifested itself physically, though some have theorized that it may have been a split personality of Thad Beaumont.

The Stark persona began committing a series of gruesome murders, which earned the attention of Sheriff Alan Pangborn of Castle Rock, Maine. After a whirlwind of mystery and intrigue, the two halves came to symbolic blows with one another, with Thad Beaumont emerging as the victor.
