Gary Gerani is a film screenwriter. His first work in the horror genre was as a co-writer on the 1988 demonic film Pumpkinhead. Gerani provided audio commentary on the 20th Anniversary Collector's Edition release of the Pumpkinhead DVD. In 1994, he served as creative consultant on the film's sequel, Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings. In 1996, Gary Gerani wrote the screenplay for the Vampirella feature film, based on the work of Forrest J. Ackerman. He also played a brief role in the film as a council vampire.
