Gale Anne Hurd is an American film and television producer born in Los Angeles, California on October 25th, 1955. She is best known for her involvement in several successful science fiction franchises including Aliens, Terminator, The Abyss, Tremors and Alien Nation. Many of her projects were coordinated with her then-husband, director James Cameron. Following the success of Aliens, Gale went on to produce the low-budget fantasy/horror film Bad Dreams. She also worked on The Relic in 1997 and The Coven in 2004. In 2010, Hurd became one of the executive producers on the AMC television series The Walking Dead.
