Funny Bunny is an American film short of the monster subgenre of horror, with an emphasis on the "child's toy come to life" film trope. It was directed by Nic Stanich with a script written by Savannah Moss, who also stars in the film. It was produced by Thundercane Productions and premiered at the International Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival on March 28th, 2025.

Plot[]

A young woman is hired to babysit a little girl named Leah. Leah introduces her babysitter to her best friend, which is a ragged stuff rabbit called Funny Bunny. Leah and the babysitter play some games, but the fun ends when the babysitter notices that Leah loses a tooth while eating an ear of corn. Leah is unphased by this, and shows the babysitter her collection of teeth that she has lost. While handling them, the babysitter accidentally drops a tooth and it falls down the sink drain. This causes Funny Bunny to come to life and torment the babysitter through a nightmare of hallucinatory images. Ultimately, Leah takes the form of Funny Bunny and attacks the babysitter while eerily intoning, "You really were one of my favorites".
