"La Conquista" is the eighth episode from season one of the horror/action television series From Dusk Till Dawn and the eighth episode of the series overall. It was directed by Fede Alvarez with a script written by Marcel Rodriguez. The episode first aired on the El Rey Network on Tuesday, May 6th, 2014 at 9:00 pm. In this episode, Santanico Pandemonium offers the dying Richie Gecko the chance at immortality. Santanico needs Richie's cooperation if she is to escape her prison. Freddie Gonzalez has a showdown with Carlos in the bar, and secures him to a chair. Jacob, Kate, Seth, and Aiden go looking for Scott in the dungeon catacombs and come upon a mentally traumatized marine named Frost, who outfits them with an arsenal of weapons, which they then use to combat the culebras.
