Fred Gwynne was an American actor born on July 10th, 1926 in New York City, New York. He is best known for playing the role of Herman Munster on the popular 1964 sit-com The Munsters. Gwynne reprised the role of Herman Munster in the 1966 full length feature film Munster, Go Home! and again in the 1981 television movie The Munsters' Revenge. Gwynne passed away in Taneytown, Maryland on July 2nd, 1993.
