Freaky is an American feature film of the slasher and comedy subgenres of horror. It directed by Christopher Landon with a screenplay co-written by Landon and Michael Kennedy. It was produced by Universal Pictures, Blumhouse Productions and Divide/Conquer. It premiered in the United States at Beyond Fest on October 8th, 2020. It opened to nationwide release in the United States on Friday, November 13th, 2020. The film stars Vince Vaughn in the dual role of a serial killer known as The Butcher, whose mind gets mystically swapped into the body of teenager Millie Kessler. Actress Kathryn Newton co-stars as Millie as well as the body-swapped version of The Butcher. The film also stars Celeste O'Connor and Misha Osherovich as Millie's friends, Nyla Chones and Josh Detmer.

- Freaky is loosely based on the 1972 children's novel Freaky Friday, which was written by Mary Rodgers and first published by Harper & Row. The book was adapted into a feature film in 1976 directed by Gary Nelson and starred Barbara Harris and Jodie Foster. The film was remade as a made-for-television movie in 1995 by director Melanie Mayron and starred Shelley Long and Gaby Hoffmann. Another film version was released in 2003 by director Mark Waters and starred Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis.
