Notes & Trivia[]
- Frankenstein vs. the Mummy (2015) redirects to this page.
- There are a total of thirteen credited cast members in this film.
- Victor Frankenstein, the Frankenstein Monster, and Professor Walton were created by English author Mary Shelley and featured in the 1818 novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus.
- The character of Carter is loosely based on the character of Fritz featured in the 1931 film Frankenstein by director James Whale and played by actor Dwight Frye. Another pastiche of this character is Igor (or Eye-gor) from the 1974 Mel Brooks comedy Young Frankenstein.
- The character of William, who is a university student and potential successor to Victor Frankenstein, may have been named after William Frankenstein, who was Victor's young brother from the novel.
- Writer and director Damien Leone is also known for his work on All Hallows' Eve in 2013, and Terrifier in 2016.
- Ironically, Brandon deSpain, who plays Uzekara, also plays a mummy named Neferu in Day of the Mummy, released in 2014.
- The applications for the mummy make-up took six hours every day to conduct.
- The scene where Naihla Khalil tries to trick Usekare into believing that she is an Egyptian woman of some authority is reminiscent of a scene in Friday the 13th Part 2 where Ginny Field tries to psychologically trick Jason Voorhees by pretending she is his mother.
