The Forever Purge is an American feature film of the psycho-thriller subgenre of horror. It is the fifth installment in the Purge film series and follows the 2018 movie The First Purge. It was directed by Everardo Gout with a screenplay written by franchise creator James DeMonaco. It was presented by Universal Pictures and produced by Platinum Dunes, Man in a Tree, and Blumhouse Productions in association with Perfect World Pictures. It premiered in the United States on July 2nd, 2021.
