A janitor is the guy who cleans up your messes. You know... the one who's not yo momma! Janitors actually prefer to be called custodians for some reason. As if that somehow makes their job seem less shitty. Make no mistake though, janitors bust their ass. Day in and day out, cleaning up your spills, emptying your garbage, scrubbing graffiti off bathroom stalls and dumping ashtrays.
To make matters even worse, janitors do not have a particularly long lifespan when it comes to horror fiction. Either some masked slasher is running them through with a butcher knife to steal their onesies, or their getting mauled by some feral critter like a werewolf or a vampire after getting off from a long day of scrubbing gum off the floor.
Dick Miller played a janitor named Walter Paisley in the 1986 sci-fi horror film Chopping Mall. He got uppity with one of the roving Killbots who fired a taser at him. The taser landed in a puddle of water at Paisley's feet. When Walter swung his mop to attack the Killbot, it activated the electric charge, electrocuting him.
