"Nunc Dimittis" is the fifth episode of season two of the horror anthology series The Hunger and the twenty-seventh episode of the series overall. It was directed by Russell Mulcahy with a script written by Gerald Wexler based on a story treatment by Tanith Lee. It first aired on Showtime on October 10th, 1999. In this episode, the aging servant of a vampire princess is dying, and must find someone youthful to replace him. He finds a drug addict named Snake and brings him back to the vampire's home where he is offered the chance to become his replacement.
