Sharon Farrell is a film and television actress. She was born Sharon Forsmoe in Sioux City, Iowa on December 24th, 1940. Originally taking the stage name Sharon Forsmo, she began acting in movies in 1959. She was primarily active from the early 1960s through the late 1990s.
Career[]
Sharon Farrell's first work in the horror genre came in 1974. She took on the female lead of Lenore Davis in the film, and was the one responsible for giving birth to a gruesome mutant freak with fangs and claws (and no, we're not talking about Honey Boo-Boo).
In January, 1975, Sharon played her first TV role in the horror genre. She was a grieving woman named Lila Morton, who attended the funeral of her sister in the "Chopper" episode of Kolchak: The Night Stalker.
Sharon later went on to take on another leading role. She played Sheri Bennett in the 1976 Robert Allen Schnitzer psycho-thriller, The Premonition. In 1983, she played Kathy Hopkins in the slasher film, Sweet Sixteen, directed by Jim Sotos. She followed this up a year later, playing a woman named Doris in Night of the Comet in 1984.
Returning to television, Sharon played Mrs. Wax - mother to ill-fated babysitter, Lisa Wax in the "Do You Know Where Your Kids Are?" episode of Freddy's Nightmares.
In 1993, Sharon played Mrs. Manning - mother to Alex Manning, who committed suicide right before her daughter's eyes in the sci-fi/horror movie Arcade.

- Sharon's first credited film role was playing Emily Wilson in the 1959 psycho-drama Kiss Her Goodbye in 1959. She was credited as Sharon Forsmo in this film.
