K. Fuji, first name unknown, is a fictional astronaut featured in the Godzilla film series of the Shōwa period (1957-1975). He appeared in the 1965 film Godzilla vs. Monster Zero where he was played by Japanese actor Akira Takarada. In English-dubbed versions of the film, K. Fuji was voiced by actor Marvin Miller.
Overview[]
K. Fuji was a Japanese astronaut. He was part of a special mission along with American astronaut Glenn Amer to go on an exploratory mission out beyond the orbit of Jupiter. Fuji and Glenn's ship discovered the mysterious Planet X, which was populated by a race of humanoids known as Xians.
Although they appeared to be a peaceful, yet beleaguered race in need of help at first, the Xians proved to just be a bunch of dicks, who kidnapped Glenn and Fuji and held them captive in their swank underground caverns.
