Janie was a teenage girl who lived with her parents in the Tollington Building in Edinburgh, Scotland. As others would note, Janie reveled in a culture celebrating sex and death. She had a tattoo of a spider and a spider web on the small of her back. Sometime in the late 2000s, Janie was accosted by the ghostly forces that inhabited the Tollington Building. Invisible hands threw her about her room and pinned her face down to her bed, whereupon they pulled her panties down, presumably with the intent of violating her sexually. As Janie screamed in agony, a ghostly force tore her face away as her parents burst into the room. She died as a result of the sustained trauma and became one of the ghosts living in the house. Her parents moved out of the Tollington Building where it remained on the market for quite some time after.
