Grandma Werewolf is an American independent feature film of the horror and comedy genres with an emphasis on werewolf fiction. It was written and directed by Zachary Will and produced by Riverside Studios. The movie was financed as part of a kickstarter campaign. It premiered in the United States on November 25th, 2017. The film stars James Wosochlo as Hank with Trevor Brooks as son Ben, America Ramos as daughter Kate, Emily Bowman as ex-wife Jasmine, and Tricia Harmon in the titular role of Grandma.

Plot[]

Hank, a divorced pest control specialist, picks up his adolescent children, Ben and Kate, and drives them up to a secluded cabin in the middle of the woods so they can spend Thanksgiving with their grandmother. Before long however, they discover that Grandma has a dark secret - she is a werewolf! When the full moon rises, Grandma transforms and goes loping out into the forest.

Hank, Ben and Kate are at odds as to what to do about Grandma. Realizing that she is a monster, their first instinct is to track her down and kill her. They find a bound journal left behind by Grandma's late husband, which details mystic rituals designed to stop a werewolf. Hank and the kids go out in the hopes of finding her before she can do any damage.

Meanwhile, a bizarre hunter with a Mohawk is stalking the forest looking to bag the next big prey on his "to do" list - a werewolf. Also, two bumbling detectives find themselves on the trail of the werewolf after a carton of eggs is stolen from a local convenience store.

Hank and the kids eventually find Grandma, but Grandma bites Kate, turning her into a werewolf as well. Hank and Ben retreat back to the cabin to come up with a new plan. Studying the grandfather's journal, they learn about a mystic guru who can teach them how to harness supernatural power needed to combat a werewolf. The guru has them perform various menial deeds and errands, then prints them a certificate saying that they have achieved the power they needed.

Everything comes to a head when Grandma and Kate finally return home. While Hank tries to use his newfound telekinetic abilities, the bumbling detectives find their way to the cabin. Grandma and Kate are readying to lunge at the detectives, but then the sun comes up, and they revert back to human form.

With the current crisis averted, Grandma invites everyone to sit down for a belated Thanksgiving dinner.
