Brian Hillard is a film makeup artist and FX designer. He is the creative director for Evolution Effects Studio and has also worked for Stan Winston Studio and Steve Johnson's F/X. His first work in the horror genre was in 2005 when served as a mold technician for the movie Constantine. He has also worked on George Romero's Land of the Dead, the remake of I am Legend and the direct-to-video film Zombie Wars.
Though Brian seldom works in front of the camera, he does have a very notable distinction for playing one of the most memorable zombie characters on AMC's The Walking Dead. Brian played the disgusting pile of crap known as the Bloated well walker in the season two episode, "Cherokee Rose". Behind the scenes footage of Brian prepping for costume can be seen on the Walking Dead: The Complete Second Season Blu-ray special features.

- Brian Hillard appeared in the "In the Dead Water" featurette, which is included on disc four of the Walking Dead: The Complete Second Season Blu-ray collection. He is credited in the feature as Brian Gross (who is actually a different actor altogether). The feature showed Hillard doing the fittings for Bloated well walker from "Cherokee Rose", and also took note of some of the effects used in piecing (and un-piecing) the character together.
