Avion Baker is a television actress and singer. She provided the singing voice for the character of Uniqua on the children's series The Backyardigans. The role of Uniqua was also played by actresses Jamia Simone Nash and LaShawn Jefferies. Avion then went on to play the role of young Tara Thornton in select flashback scenes from episodes of the HBO series True Blood. She appeared in two episodes from season one, one episode from season two and one episode from season five.
