"The Spirit Box" is the eleventh episode of the American horror anthology series Fear Itself. The episode was directed by Rob Schmidt and written by Joe Gangemi. It was originally slated to air on NBC on Thursday, January 17th, 2009, but the series was discontinued without explanation following the 2008 Winter Olympics. The plot of the episode revolves around the spirit of a school girl named Emily D'Angelo who communes with two former classmates named Shelby and Becca, enlisting them to help her divine the truth behind her murder.
