"Something With Bite" is the ninth episode of the American horror anthology series Fear Itself. The episode was directed by Ernest R. Dickerson and written by Max Landis. It first aired on NBC on Thursday, January 3rd, 2009. In this episode, veterinarian Doctor Wilbur Orwell receives a very strange patient - a wolf. The animal, saddled with the human name of Michael, bites the good doctor and he soon discovers that he has been cursed with lycanthropy. While dealing with the ramifications of being a werewolf, Orwell meets Michael's "family" and learns about another individual who has been impersonating a werewolf to commit murders.

- Ernest R. Dickerson has also directed eight episodes of another famed anthology series, George Romero's Tales from the Darkside. He also directed "The V Word" episode of Masters of Horror, the "Haunted" episode of The Vampire Diaries and the "Wildfire" episode of The Walking Dead.
- Screenwriter Max Landis is the son of noted horror film director John Landis, best known for his own contribution to werewolf lore, the 1981 horror classic An American Werewolf in London. John and Max both worked together on the "Deer Woman" episode of Masters of Horror, which was directed by the elder Landis and co-written by both of them.
