Biography[]
Ernest Miller was a down home country preacher who appeared on television and radio programs in the 1970s. When his 27-year-old daughter Maxine took off to become a pornographic actress, Ernest launched a campaign against the sinful industries of the world, including the adult film industry.
Ernest eventually tracked Maxine down to Los Angeles. He began killing people close to her such as sex workers in order to intensify the "satanic panic" fever that had gripped the nation. He was able to disguise his murders by having people blame them on the rash of "Night Stalker" killings that had already taken place.
Having amassed a small cult, Ernest eventually captured Maxine. She escaped though and had a final confrontation with her father beneath the Hollywood sign wherein she shot him in the face with a shotgun at point blank range.
