Embeth Jean Davitz is an American film actress born in Lafayette, Indiana on August 11th, 1965. She is best known for playing the role of Sheila, love interest to Ash Williams in the 1992 Sam Raimi film Army of Darkness. Her first work in film was the sci-fi/horror movie Mutator, which was directed by John R. Bowey in 1989.

Following Army of Darkness, Embeth played Gretta Milano in the 1998 demonic possession thriller Fallen starring Denzel Washington. She followed this up in 2001 with Thir13en Ghosts, a remake of the original 1960 film 13 Ghosts, directed by William Castle. Embeth played a character named Kalina Oretzia in the movie.
