Edolo is a town and commune in the province of Brescia, Lombardy, northern Italy, located in the upper Camonica valley. Edolo is neighbor to the comuni of Corteno Golgi, Incudine, Lovero, Malonno, Monno, Ponte di Legno, Saviore dell'Adamello, Sernio, Sonico, Temù, Tovo di Sant'Agata, Vezza d'Oglio and Vione.
In The Nun II a Christian novitiate committed suicide by throwing herself out of a window in Edolo. The exact year this took place is unconfirmed. It could have been as early as 1952 or possibly as late as 1955. It is widely accepted that the demon known as Valak was responsible for the novitiate's demise. At this time, Valak was tracking down descendants of Saint Lucy of Syracuse in the hopes of acquiring the Eyes of St. Lucy, which had become a mystical relic of great power.
