Edward "Ed" Bianchi is a film and television director and producer born on April 24th, 1942. His first work in television was directing the title sequence used on season eight of the NBC comedy series The Cosby Show. As an episodic director, he helmed two episodes of Homicide: Life on the Street in 1998. Edward then went on to direct four episodes of The Wire between 2002 and 2004 as well as an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and The Jury, also in 2004. Between 2005 and 2006, Bianchi directed eight episodes of the Western drama series Deadwood and also worked on seven episodes of Brotherhood. In the 2010s, Edward Bianchi's television credits include episodes of Kings, Heroes, Hawthorne, Men of a Certain Age, Magic City, The Killing, Boardwalk Empire and Bates Motel.
