Drak, Jr., often referred to simply as "Drak", was one of the main characters on the 1980-1982 Hanna-Barbera animated series Drak Pack. He was voiced by actor Jerry Dexter and appeared in all sixteen episodes of the program.
Biography[]
Drak was the teenage great-nephew of the infamous Count Dracula. Along with his pals Frankie and Howler, he possessed the ability to shed his human guise and embrace his vampiric talents whenever the three clasped hands and shouted the word, "Whacko!" Together, these teens sought to atone for the sins of their parents by using their monster powers for the good of humanity. They often clashed with the villainous forces of the Organization of Generally Rotten Endeavors, aka, O.G.R.E. and its leader, Doctor Dred.
Abilities[]
Drak possessed superhuman abilities, many of which were outside the norm even for vampires. He could fly of his own accord, possessed the ability to move objects with his mind and could change his shape into any animal that he chose. Invariably however, Drak preferred the traditional bat form.

- Drak, Jr. was obviously inspired by the character of Dracula, conceived by Irish author Bram Stoker in 1897.
- Not to be confused with Drac from the 1970-1971 animated series Groovie Goolies.
- Drak's nemesis Vampira appeared to have an unrequited love for Drak.
- Actor Jerry Dexter has also provided voice work on episodes of Shazzan, Goober and the Ghost-Chasers, Fangface, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, The Jetsons and Duck Tales.
