Dracula II: Ascension is an American independent feature film of the vampire fiction subgenre of horror, loosely based on the concept of Dracula. It is a direct sequel to the theatrically release film Dracula 2000. The film was directed by Patrick Lussier with a script written by Lussier and Joel Soisson. It was produced by Castel Film Romania and Neo Art & Logic and distributed through Dimension Home Video. It was released direct-to-video on June 7th, 2003.

- Dracula was created by Irish author Bram Stoker. He is the titular antagonist of Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula, which was inspired by an actual Wallachian nobleman known as Vlad II, aka Vlad the Impaler. The character has since been imagined as a powerful vampire count in various forms of media and has been played by many notable actors such as Bela Lugosi, Christopher Lee, Frank Langella, Gary Oldman, and even Leslie Nielsen.
- The tagline to this film is "The terrifying sequel to Dracula 2000. Not particularly creative, eh?
- Production on Dracula II: Ascension began on October 10th, 2001. Principal photography concluded in December, 2001. The movie was shot on location in Bucharest, Rasnov, Zarnesti, and Sibiu, Romania. Some interior scenes of Dracula's imprisonment was filmed at the University of Bucharest.
