Dominion is an American feature film of the Satanic occult and supernatural thriller subgenres of horror. It is an alternate prequel to the 2004 film Exorcist: The Beginning. The film was directed by Paul Schrader with a screenplay written by William Wisher and Caleb Carr. It was produced by Morgan Creek Entertainment and distributed through Warner Bros. in the theatrical market. It premiered at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival in Belgium on March 18th, 2005. It opened to limited theatrical release in the United States on May 20th, 2005.
