Dolls is an American horror movie of the killer doll subgenre. It was directed by Stuart Gordon and written by Ed Naha. It was produced by Charles Band and his company Empire Pictures and received limited theatrical screening. The movie premiered in March, 1987 at the Los Angeles International Film Festival. It was screened at the Houston Film Festival on April 18th, 1987 and opened to limited engagement in Los Angeles on May 22nd, 1987. Dolls has an uncharacteristically small cast of characters and stars Ian Patrick Williams, Carolyn Purdy-Gordon, Carrie Lorraine, Guy Rolfe, Hilary Mason, Bunty Bailey, Cassie Stuart and Stephen Lee.
