Diana Meade is a fictional character featured in the "Secret Circle" series of novels as well as the 2011 Secret Circle television series on the CW Network. The character was introduced in 1992 in the first book in the series, The Secret Circle: The Initiation by L.J. Smith. On the TV show, the character first appeared in the pilot episode and was played by actress Shelley Hennig.
