28 Days Later[]
Derrick was an adult male who worked as a field reporter and imbedded journalist. He worked as a correspondent in various war-zone nations including Afghanistan, Iraq, and Serbia. He was part of a team led by Clint Harris to fly past the infected quarantine zone to get into London, England. Their helicopter took fire from a military airplane and they were forced to land in the Shetland Islands. Some nine miles outside of Sumburgh, Derrick and his crew tried to wave for help, but the only people to respond were the infected. The team's guide, Selena, took the infected down with her machete. Hellraiser[]
Derrick was a young man in his late teens or early twenties in the year 2005 who had an asthma condition. He was an avid gamer and part of a friend group that included Chelsea, Mike, Allison, Jake and Adam. They were all addicted to an online game called Hellworld. Adam became so obsessed with the game, that it drove him insane, ultimately prompting him to commit suicide. Derrick and the others all attended his funeral, but were a little surprised that Adam's parents didn't show up. Two years later, Derrick was in a romantic relationship with Allison. Allison was still deeply involved in the Hellworld game and Derrick was present when she successfully beat a puzzle that rewarded her with an invitation to the 5th Annual secret Hellworld party, being held that Friday evening at Leviathan House at 8:00 pm. The highly competitive Derrick was very excited about this, and immediately took to the game until he too was awarded an invitation. (Hellraiser: Hellworld)
