Demoni, also known as Demons in English-speaking countries, is an Italian feature film of the demonic possession subgenre of horror. It was directed by Lamberto Bava with a screenplay written by Dario Argento, Dardano Sacchetti, Lamberto Bava, and Franco Ferrini based on an original story by Dardano Sacchetti. It was produced by DACFILM Rome and premiered in Italy on October 4th, 1985. The film features an ensemble cast who are offered a ticket to a special screening of a unique horror film at the recently renovated Metropol theater in Berlin. Merely watching the film causes life to imitate art as patrons become possessed by demons and begin savaging the other theater goers.
