Demented is an American independent feature film of the psychological thriller subgenre of horror with an emphasis on the "female revenge" film trope. It was directed by Arthur Jeffreys with a script written by Alex Rebar. It was produced by Four Features Partners and premiered in the United States on June 1st, 1980. The film stars Sallee Elyse as Linda Rodgers - a rape victim who is traumatized by her experience, but ultimately takes revenge against her attackers.
