Deep Red is an Italian feature film of the psychological thriller and giallo genres. It was written and directed by Dario Argento and co-written by Bernardino Zapponi. It was presented by Rizzoli Film and produced by Seda Spettacoli. It premiered in Italy on March 7th, 1975. When a Lithuanian psychic named Helga Ulmann is murdered by a mysterious indvidual in a brown raincoat, pianist and upstairs neighbor Marcus Daly takes a keen interest in the matter. He reluctantly teams up with a reporter named Gianna Brezzi, but soon finds himself a target of the killer as well.
