A Bucket of Blood is a 1995 horror/comedy film directed by Michael McDonald. Also known as The Death Artist, it is a remake of the original 1959 Roger Corman film A Bucket of Blood starring Dick Miller. The film originally aired on Showtime Networks and was later released on VHS. In this version of the film, Anthony Michael Hall plays Walter Paisley, a nerdy busboy at a trendy cofee house called the Jabberjaw. An aspiring artist, Paisley earns the respect of his peers when he presents a sculpture of a dead cat. What people have yet to realize is that Paisley's work involves killing living beings and covering them in plaster.
