Notes & Trivia[]
- The tagline for this film is "From the guys who taught John Wyck how to kick ass..."
- Day Shift was shot on-location in Los Angeles County with scenes filmed in Northridge as well as the greater San Fernando Valley. Some scenes were also filmed in Atlanta, Georgia.
- At the end of the movie, Big John Elliott is shown to have survived the explosion. As he emerges he says, "That's what I love about L.A., all the damn vampires." This is a paraphrased reference to a line spoken by Grandpa Emerson at the end of The Lost Boys when he says, "One thing about living in Santa Carla I never could stomach... all the damn vampires".
