David Michael Latt is an American filmmaker born in Encino, California on May 28th, 1966. He is co-founder of The Asylum, a movie production company specializing in direct-to-video knock-offs of more popular, theatrically released films. Many of Latt's films make their television premiere on the Syfy channel.
