David Boreanaz is an American actor born in Buffalo, New York on May 16th, 1969. He is best known for playing the brooding vampire Angel on the 1997-2003 television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The character proved popular enough with viewers that he was given his own spin-off series, Angel, which ran from 1999 to 2004. Boreanaz appeared in all 111 episodes of Angel and 57 episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Boreanaz also provided the voice for Angel in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer video game.

Outside of the "Buffyverse", David Boreanaz also played the lead in the 2001 horror film Valentine playing tormented psychopath Adam Carr. He also played Luc Crash in the 2005's The Crow: Wicked Prayer. Beginning in 2005, Boreanaz began playing the role of FBI agent Seeley Booth in the procedural crime drama Bones.
