Dark Shadows is an American comic book series of the occult thriller and supernatural horror subgenres published by Dynamite Entertainment. It is the fifth comic book series to carry the name Dark Shadows and is the second ongoing series based on the original 1960s daytime Gothic soap opera Dark Shadows. The untitled story from issue #1 of Dark Shadows was written by Stuart Manning with interior artwork by Aaron Campbell who also provided the inks for this issue. The coloring was provided by Carlos Lopez with lettering by Troy Peteri of Comicraft. The cover art illustration was composed by Francesco Francavilla. The story was edited by Joseph Rybandt. This issue shipped with a November, 2011 cover date and carried a cover price of $3.99 per copy (US).
This issue shipped with an alternate cover by Aaron Campbell. Both covers shipped with a 50/50 print run. This issue also went to second printing. A virgin cover of this issue was also produced.
