Episode 296 is an untitled episode of the daytime Gothic soap opera series Dark Shadows. It was directed by Lela Swift and written by Ron Sproat. It first aired on ABC on Friday, August 14th, 1967. This episode is part of the "The Abduction of Maggie Evans" storyline. In this episode, Julia Hoffman presents Maggie Evans to Doctor Woodard. She has perfect memory of her entire life up until the point she was kidnapped, but beyond that she remembers nothing. Maggie is taken back home, but Julia wants to send her back to Windcliff. Sam Evans insists on keeping her home and asks Julia to continue treating her. Proud of her accomplishments, Julia reports back to Barnabas and assures him that Maggie remembers nothing.
