"The Number of a Man" is the fourth episode of the supernatural drama series Damien. The series is based on the 1976 occult thriller film The Omen by director Richard Donner and serves as a contemporary sequel to the movie. The episode is directed by Bronwen Hughes with a script written by Nazrin Choudhury. It first aired on A&E on Monday, March 28th, 2016 at 10:00 pm.

Allusions[]
- The title of this episode is taken from Chapter 13:17-18 from the Book of Revelation in the New Testament of the Holy Bible. It refers to the number 666 and its relationship with The Beast, which has also been construed as being analogous to the Devil. It is also known as the "Number of the Beast", which is also the title track of a 1982 album by heavy metal band Iron Maiden. According to the band's founder and bass player Steve Harris, the song was inspired by a nightmare he had after watching Damien: Omen II.
