Damien: The Omen II is an American feature film of the supernatural thriller genre. It is a direct sequel to the 1976 movie The Omen. It was directed by Don Taylor with a screenplay written by Stanley Mann and Michael Hodges based on a story treatment by Harvey Bernhard. It was produced by Mace Neufeld Productions and distributed theatrically through the Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation. The movie was released on June 9th, 1978.

  • Steve Harris, the founder and bass player of the British heavy metal band Iron Maiden had a nightmare after watching Damien: Omen II, which inspired him to write "The Number of the Beast", which became the title track of the band's 1982 album The Number of the Beast. [1] The Number of the Beast is also referred to as The Number of a Man. "The Number of a Man" is the title to the fourth episode of Damien television series, which aired on A&E in March, 2016.
