The Cult of Sheila is a fictional organization featured in the Netflix original TV series Santa Clarita Diet. They appeared in the final episode of the series, "The Cult of Sheila".
Description[]
The Cult of Sheila was not actually a cult, but rather, a group of three individuals - two of whom were undead, who decided to commit themselves towards saving the life of Sheila Hammond. Each member of the group owed Sheila what they believed to be a great debt. Tommy was a former member of the Knights of Serbia. Sheila helped him to re-evaluate his life choices and make him realize his dream of working in a bird store. Jean was a terminally ill customer of the Meals on Wheels program. Sheila briefly worked there, and bit Jean, turning her into an immortal undead. Ron Ruffin was a former mental patient, who actually liked Sheila, and wanted to become an undead, even though Sheila refused. Ron found the rotting head of Gary West in the basement of the Hammond's home and forced it to bite his arm, thus turning him into one of the undead as well.
Jean, Tommy, and Ron all met one another at a business launch party hosted by the Hammonds. When a Serbian businessman named Dobrivoje Poplovic kidnapped Sheila's husband, Joel Hammond, Sheila pursued them and was captured as well. Tommy, Jean and Ron all drew weapons and mounted a rescue operation. It was Ron who had suggested that they should all get matching uniforms like a cult, but Jean and Tommy discouraged the notion.
The three of them arrived at the building where Joel and Sheila were being held, and assisted in extraditing them from their current predicament.
