Plot[]

A woman named Sara is the creator of her own web series called Encounters. Considering herself a "video artist", she wants to find the perfect subject and so she accepts an invitation to come out to a remote house by a man named "Aaron". Aaron pays her money to create a video chronicling his confession as a serial killer. Although Sara doesn't believe him, she remains strong and resolute and goes on Aaron's journey with him. Aaron details his life as a serial killer, chronicles the events that first set him on this path, and shares thoughts and insights that ultimately culminate into what he feels will be his last great day.

  • Aaron claims to suffer from trichotillomania, which is a compulsive disorder that involves pulling out one's hair. He later confesses to lying about this, but states that the man who attacked him when he was fifteen had this condition, and Aaron adopted it after he allegedly absorbed a portion of the man's soul. Given that Aaron is an unreliable narrator however, even this bit of information must be treated with a grain of salt.
  • The name of Sara's web series is called "Encounters".
  • In this film, the antagonist identifies himself as "Aaron", which was the name of his selected target from Creep. In that film, he identified himself as Josef. Since "Aaron" claims to absorb a portion of his victims' spirit, it is possible that he adopts the given name of his last victim every time he creates a new identity for himself.
