Connecticut is a state in the New England region of the northeastern United States. It is bordered by Rhode Island to the east, Massachusetts to the north, and New York to the west and south (because various islands of New York span Connecticut's entire coast).
Television showrunner Dan Curtis was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on March 27th, 1927. Curtis is known for creating the 1960s Gothic soap opera Dark Shadows.
The 2011 haunted house film The Innkeepers was filmed in Torrington, Connecticut. The film itself, set in Connecticut, revolves around the Yankee Pedlar Inn.
