When Lilith was resurrected in the modern era, she began gathering her children together, the first of whom included Pilgrim and Creed. She also recruited Blackout, who was a descendant of Lilith, but considered a half-breed by his peers. Another member of the Lilin was John Skinner who, along with his brethren, was sent out to kill those who operated in contrast to Lilith's plans, such as Johnny Blaze and the Ghost Rider.

Louise Hastings[]

Louise Hastings was an African American woman and a college professor from New Hope, Connecticut. Her true passion however was the occult, and she spent the majority of her life mastering her knowledge in the dark arts. Louise was one of the first to discover that the lost pages of the Book of Sins known as the Darkhold had begun to resurface. Seeking to collect them so as to keep them away from those with evil intent, she met with Victoria Montesi and Interpol agent Sam Buchanan. The three of them encountered one of the greatest threats they would ever face - Lilith, Mother of Demons. It was Lilith who named this cabal of occult investigators the Darkhold Redeemers. Louise Hastings was ultimately killed when one of Lilith's Lilin children, Bloodthirst, took possession of Michael Morbius, who slew her.
