"Code of Honor Book One: Guns" is the first issue of the Code of Honor comic book limited series published by Marvel Comics. It is written by [[Chuck Dixon][] with painted artwork by Bradley Parker and Tristan Shane. It was lettered by Chris Eliopoulos. the story was edited by Kelly Corvese with Jason White as assistant editor. This issue shipped with a January, 1997 cover date and carries a cover price of $5.95 per copy (US).
By and large, this issue is a superhero fantasy story told from the perspective of first responders such as Jeff Piper - an officer for the New York City Police Department. In once scene, Parker responds to a call in which a citizen claims to have seen a man chasing his dog across the rooftops at 116th Street and Broadway. As this is of course the Marvel Universe, it is never "just" a man chasing a dog. The under-sold observation that the civilian made actually relates to the costumed super-hero Moon Knight who was in pursuit of his old foe, Jack Russell - the Werewolf by Night.
