Classic Television: Kolchak: The Night Stalker is a DVD collection that includes all twenty episodes of the 1974-1975 supernatural thriller series Kolchak: The Night Stalker. The collection was distributed by Universal Studios and released on October 4th, 2005. Kolchak: The Night Stalker stars Darren McGavin as the eponymous investigative reporter Carl Kolchak and Simon Oakland as Independent News Service editor Tony Vincenzo. Thematically patterned after a pulp noir mystery thriller, Kolchak: The Night Stalker set it's irrascible protagonist against a wide array of mysterious oddities including vampires, werewolves, zombies, witches and even a gator monster.
