Christopher Stone was an American film and television actor, usually cast in the role of supporting characters. Although he appeared in a wide variety of television episodes during the 1970s, it wasn't until the 1981 film The Howling that Stone made his first appearance in a horror movie. Christopher was married to fellow thespian Dee Wallace, with whom he co-starred with in both The Howling and Stephen King's Cujo. They also shared top billing in the family series The New Lassie. Stone passed away from a heart attack in Los Angeles, California on October 20th, 1995 at the age of 53.

- Christopher Stone is not to be confused with Christopher Stone (II), who was the writer on the "The Heart of the Mystery" episode of Nightmare Cafe and the 2001 film Killer Instinct.
