Christopher Eccleston is a British actor born in Salford, Lancashire, England on February 16th, 1964. His first role in a horror feature was as Charles Stewart in Alejandro Amenábar's film The Others. He later played Major Henry West in the 2002 film 28 Days Later. Eccleston is best known however for playing the role of the Ninth Doctor in the 2005 Doctor Who revival series.
