Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things is an American horror film of the zombie and comedy subgenres. It was written and directed by Bob Clark under his birth name, Benjamin Clark, and was produced by Geneni Film Distributors. It was released theatrically to limited screenings on February 28th, 1973. The film stars screenwriter Alan Ormsby playing the role of a movie director named Alan who brings the cast of his newest work to an island where he performs an occult ritual that reanimates the dead. The young would-be thespians must survive the zombie attack by holing up in a nearby house. The film also stars Valerie Mamches, Jeffrey Gillen, Anya Ormsby, Paul Cronin, Jane Daly, Roy Engleman and Robert Philip.
